Who knew house hunting was THIS hard? Not me. We looked at a brand new home (never lived in!!) on Wednesday and loved it. It was slightly on the high end of our budget, but it qualified for a no money down loan, which made it affordable - but only if they'd give us some closing costs (half or so). Well, after we saw it the seller's said they decided to just rent the house instead, we didn't even get to put an offer in! Their realtor said he thinks they'd only accept full price offers. UGH. Can someone please send some good house karma our way? We have about 2 weeks left before we have to make the decision to rent (otherwise we'lll be married and both still living at our parents houses, yup.) Fingers and toes are crossed that we find something this week!!!
Yikes! Good Karma is on it's way. Personally I think I would rather rent for a year, than be rushed into making such a big decision. However, I also hate moving, so having to move two years in a row would be torture. I can see your point. Good luck!
